Warung Ida in Sidemen

Great food for hardly any cost. Just don't be in a hurry as service is doing their best but just not fast. Real value for money especially the Chicken Bakar

We had a really good two meals at Ida’s. Ida is a great cook, the food is fresh and delicious! You can also organise trips and transport from the warung. Thank you to Ida’s husband Gusti, who took us to the night market. All the best to Ida and family! We hope to come back to Sidemen.

Eaten delicious twice at Ida. She is very friendly and cooks very well. Her rijsttafel is a must !!

One of my best warungs in Bali !!! That night was the flood and Ida insisted that her son drive us back to the hotel to avoid getting wet :)

Cheap and very cheerful eats! Nothing really over 50k, and super tasty food. Not massive portions, but a good size to fill you up. Cheap cold beer too. Recommend if you’re after traditional Balinese fast food 😊👍

Really tasty homemade food. There is some sort of open kitchen you can see how two Balinese women cook for you. We had the chicken Sit Sit and chicken sate, both tasty. The service was reasonably fast. Prefect value for the price.

Excellent restaurant. You will find a warm welcome, typical and refined dishes at an unbeatable price. The manager speaks very good English, it is also she who cooks. I highly recommend it !!

Nice panoramic

Go visit Ida and her Warung. It doesn't look of much, but it is very cosy and offers great food.She is so kind and cooks some great food. We went there July 26, 2016, and had some balinese ristjaffel which tasted fantastic. We also had some fried bananas with honey - yummi! We were the only one in the warung, so we had a lot of time to chat with Ida, the owner, chef and waiter. She was very good at english and was very helpfull, telling a lot of things about Sidemen and Bali. We highly recommend you give Ida a visit.

Mediocre food, terrible service. We waited over an hour to have our plates cleared and there were 3 other tables in a similar situation. They then nearly turned away another couple saying they were full, when all they had to do was do a faster turnround of the tables they had in, instead of sitting by the kitchen hatch not doing anything.They were very quick to spot the money on the table and pick that up at the end.

Very decent food in the middle of nowhere.

It was only possible to order chicken. We ordered a tomato soup which was tasty but a bit spicy. Sweet and sour chicken was really good and the staff nice!

Excellent food (we all had the rijstaffel) and impeccable service. It closed when we arrived and the owner still received us with pleasure. Beer cooler than usual. Fresh fruit juice. The view looked nice (but it was dark). Very reasonable price it seems to us.

Lunch in the afternoon. Chicken satay was delicious. Back in the evening for the rice table. Delicious. Very friendly service. Slice of walking over a dark road so take care of lighting.

Exquisite food, especially considering the price. I definitely recommend the Rijsttafel, the sweet&sour chicken and the fried rice.

Super restaurant, it's very good, hearty (the banana pancake is huge), and they are super nice and pampering.

We had read good reviews on this warung. We were very disappointed. The cuisine is rude, banal, lack of refinement. Very few vegetables. But the boss is charming.

Be careful no vegetarian dish. Aside from that very nice owners and nice place

Food decent enough, service really poor. Place only has 6 tables, of which we were first in this evening to get seated.Ordered and got food pretty quickly, only had chicken available so got a chicken sit sit and chicken satay. Food tasted ok, had tastier though.Place starts to fill up, so the owner goes into kitchen to help and a young lad left out front. Orders get taken and fulfilled slowly for other tables, but as we finished and another couple of tables did too, no one came to clear plates and ask if wanted anything else. He just sat at counter shuffling receipts. He then went off to take customer home. Took an hour after finishing for the young girl to come ask if we had finished and then just took plates away, no offer to order anything else. Then we sat for another 20 mins before just getting the bill, needless to say had no desserts!

Location that does not seem to look good, but where the food is really good and the welcome more than warm. Ida's chicken curry was really great. In addition, we booked the taxi with her (her husband).

Small warung look cozy with nice view maybe local food would be tasty but not recommeded for western food (Spagetti) good price, good service (but we paid for it "on bills wrote tax n service") well better than another but not the best one .

Warung Ida is super good, this little woman is super sweet and we eat super great.

Delicious food and very friendly owner. The restaurant has some good views over the rice terraces and mountains. We order the sweet&sour chicken and two other dishes who were all excellent. Not expensive and good portions as well. Prepare for some mosquitos after sundown

Must visit for an exquisite, fresh and healthy organic local meal. The kitchen is super clean, western bathroom, very friendly staff and 100% organic veggies coming straight from the farm. One of my best local warung experiences, this is a hidden gem! Prices are cheap and they also surprise you with some complimentary gifts! It takes a bit of time to prepare the meals but at least you don’t get pre-made, microwaved stuff
